The following 6 wrestlers were released from WWE yesterday:
– Braun Strowman
– Aleister Black
– Lana
– Murphy
– Ruby Riott
– Santana Garrett
According to the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast (who have broken quite a few stories as of late), more WWE releases are expected in the coming weeks.
Speaking of yesterday’s releases, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that John Laurinaitis (Head of WWE Talent Relations) sent a text about the 6 wrestlers being released to everyone on the roster, which has never been done before.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (June 3, 2016) – Old School WrestleMania Celebrity Passed Away
On this day in 2016, we lost Old School WWF WrestleMania 1 Celebrity Muhammad Ali (fka Cassius Clay) at the age of 74.
Ali is considered one of the best boxers of all time, and probably even THE most famous boxer in the history of boxing.
He wasn’t just the 2nd (outside) special guest referee at the inaugural WWF WrestleMania in 1985, but also presented the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan at the end of the Halloween Havoc 1994 PPV. He also faced Wrestling Legend Antonio Inoki years earlier (1976) in a “Boxer vs. Wrestler” match.
