• Multiple Released WWE Wrestlers Trying To Get Rid Of Their Non-Compete Clauses

It appears that multiple Superstars out of the 2021 WWE releases are asking WWE to cancel their 90-day non-compete clauses.

Here’s what Fightful Select reported:

“Multiple 2021 WWE releases have asked WWE if they can forego their non-compete clauses, anywhere ranging from the entire duration, down to just a few days before their scheduled non-competes.”

The recently released WWE Superstars included:

– Braun Strowman

– Aleister Black

– Lana

– Murphy

– Ruby Riott

– Santana Garrett

Some of the released WWE wrestlers are expected to appear at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary 2021 PPV on July 17 (a date by which the non-compete clauses of all the released wrestlers will be over).

Samoa Joe, who was released back in April, has already been brought back to the company for their NXT brand.

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 75th birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Bruiser Brody (Real name: Frank Goodish).

Bruiser Brody wrestled for various promotions during the 70s & 80s, such as World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), the American Wrestling Association (AWA), the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), All Japan Pro Wrestling and many more.

Historians and fans all agree that he was basically “Hardcore” before there even was any real “Hardcore Wrestling”.

His death unfortunately overshadowed his great career, when he was murdered by Invader 1 (Real name: José Huertas González) in a World Wrestling Council dressing room in 1988.

Brody was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE
