“My TNA Run Was Better Than WWE Run” – Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle - "It's True, It's True" T-Shirt

Former WWE & TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle was recently interviewed by Tom Feaheny. Angle talked about his wrestling career and was asked if his WWE run was better than his TNA run or not.

Below is what Angle said:

“It’s a hard question, but I had a better career in TNA than I did in WWE. In WWE I wrestled Shawn Michaels, Chris Beniot, Eddie Guerrero, The Rock, Triple H, Edge there were so many great wrestlers. In TNA I’ve had a lot of fun and I had experience and maturity in TNA that’s why I was able to enjoy it more.”

Angle was asked if his initial plan was to stay for so long in the Professional Wrestling business. Here’s what Angle said:

“No, I actually told other wrestlers I would be in it for five years. I’ve never been a person to go a long time or outstay my welcome. In Olympic wrestling after I won the gold medal, I retired. I could have gone another four years, but with professional wrestling I caught the bug, it’s a passion I have.”
