• New Champions Crowned On Tonight’s AEW Dynamite

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with AEW President Tony Khan announcing that he’s forced to strip CM Punk of the AEW World Championship and Kenny Omega & Young Bucks of the AEW World Trios Championship.

New Trios Champions will be crowned on tonight’s show, when Death Triangle faces Orange Cassidy & Best Friends.

To crown the new AEW World Champion, a tournament of champions will take place.

Below are the matches that will take place in this tournament:

Match 1 (Tonight): Hangman Page vs. Bryan Danielson

Match 2 (Friday): Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin

Match 3 (Next Week): Chris Jericho vs. Winner of Match 1

Match 4 (Next Week): Jon Moxley vs. Winner of Match 2

Finals at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 21: Winner of Match 3 vs. Winner of Match 4

In the opening match of tonight’s show, Death Triangle (AEW All-Atlantic Champion Pac & Lucha Brothers) defeated Orange Cassidy & Best Friends to win the AEW World Trios Championship.
