16. Lackluster SummerSlam 2017 Plans For Top Raw Star?

It looks like Finn Balor’s SummerSlam 2017 plans might turn out to be lackluster. It was being said that if Finn Balor doesn’t end up wrestling Elias Samson at the Great Balls of Fire 2017 PPV, then his match with Samson could quite possibly happen at SummerSlam 2017. And as we saw at the Great Balls of Fire PPV, Balor didn’t have a match on the card.

So this means we might be getting Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson at the biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam 2017. At last year’s SummerSlam 2016 PPV, Balor made his WWE PPV debut and defeated Seth Rollins to become the first ever Universal Champion.

UPDATE: Balor faced Samson on tonight’s episode of Raw and went on to defeat him. So it’s safe to say that Balor vs. Samson won’t happen at SummerSlam 2017 now.
