• Nick Khan Apologized To A Champion At Royal Rumble 2022

IMPACT Wrestling’s Knockouts World Champion Mickie James returned to WWE for one night only, by entering the Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 match.

She came out with her IMPACT Title belt, with her IMPACT theme song and performed in the match for over 10 minutes.

She eliminated Michelle McCool from the match, but got eliminated by WWE Hall Of Famer Lita.

During an interview with SK Wrestling, Mickie revealed that WWE President Nick Khan apologized to her backstage at the Royal Rumble for the trash bag incident (her belongings were sent to her in a garbage bag after her release from the company last year).

Below is what she said:

“Nick Khan came up to me at the show and apologized. I don’t even know that he was a part of, I think he was a part of the company, but I hadn’t met him or knew who he was at that time because it was early transitional days.

Even he apologized to me at TV, ‘This should’ve never happened.’ I agree it should’ve never happened. It shouldn’t have happened 10 years ago, and now it’ll never happen again.”
