In the main event of today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view, Kazuchika Okada defeated Jay White to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship for the 2nd time in his career.

Antonio Inoki Memorial 6-Man Tag Team Match: Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima and Togi Makabe def. WWE Hall Of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami, Minoru Suzuki and Tiger Mask

Main Show

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: Catch 2/2 (TJP and Francesco Akira) (c) (with Gideon Grey) def. LiYoh (Lio Rush and Yoh) to retain the Titles

IWGP Women’s Championship Match: Kairi Sane (c) def. Tam Nakano to retain the Title

IWGP Tag Team Championship Match: Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) def. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) to win the Titles

Tournament Final to crown the inaugural NJPW World Television Champion: Zack Sabre Jr. def. Ren Narita to win the Title

After the match, TMDK came out and requested Sabre to join them as their leader, and he accepted.

NEVER Openweight Championship Match: Tama Tonga (with Jado) def. Karl Anderson (c) to win the Title

– Keiji Muto, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shota Umino defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Sanada and Bushi)

This was Muto’s final NJPW match.

Fatal 4-Way Match For The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi def. Taiji Ishimori (c), El Desperado, and Master Wato to win the Title

IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Match: Kenny Omega (with Don Callis) def. Will Ospreay (c) to win the Title

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Match: Kazuchika Okada def. Jay White (c) to win the Title

After the match, Shingo Takagi interrupted and announced that he’s coming for the World Title. Okada then grabbed a mic and talked about Antonio Inoki, and said that he hopes that Inoki enjoyed the matches tonight.
