• No Timetable For Top AEW Star’s Return

At the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view, Jay White defeated Adam Cole, Hangman Page & Kazuchika Okada in a Fatal 4-Way Match to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

The match ended abruptly when White pinned Cole out of nowhere to win the match.

Cole, who entered the match with a shoulder injury, suffered a concussion in this match, so they quickly ended the match.

Adam’s girlfriend, former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, wrote the following about Adam’s injury and him being body shamed on Social Media:

“Some of you will truly never understand the lengths some wrestlers will go to make sure you are entertained…regardless of how horribly you treat them online.

It goes far beyond the bumps and bruises you see, yet they are endlessly devoted to their fans.”

According to the Wrestling Observer, there’s no update on Cole’s recovery and no timetable is set backstage for his return to AEW TV. This most likely means that he still hasn’t recovered and fans won’t see him anytime soon.
