Below are the results from tonight’s 1-year anniversary show of WWE NXT 2.0:

– Pretty Deadly (c) def. The Creed Brothers in a Steel Cage Match to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship after Damon Kemp interfered and handcuffed Julius Creed to the Cage

– Fallon Henley def. Lash Legend

– Alba Fyre attacked Toxic Attraction with her bat and has her sights on the NXT Women’s Championship

– “The Super Diva” Quincy Elliot def. Sean Gallagher

– Yulisa Leon announced that she suffered an injury and will be out of action for 9 months.

– Cameron Grimes & Joe Gacy def. Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

After the match, Gacy hugged Grimes, but Grimes shoved Gacy away and said he doesn’t need him. Schism then attacked Grimes.

– Tyler Bate said that Bron Breakker had a great first year in NXT 2.0, but he wants a rematch for the NXT Title and if JD McDonagh stands in the way of that he will have to go through him.

– Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark def. Arianna Grace & Kiana James

– NXT security guard Hank Walker def. Javier Bernal

– NXT Champion Bron Breakker was voted the Biggest Superstar of NXT 2.0.

– Wes Lee was chosen to face Carmelo Hayes for the NXT North American Championship, but he was attacked backstage. Bloodline’s newest member Solo Sikoa came out and said he will challenge Carmelo for the Title.

– Solo Sikoa def. Carmelo Hayes (c) to win the NXT North American Championship

– At the end of the show, it was revealed that NXT 2.0 is turning back to NXT.

On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.

This was the first WWF TV show after the September 11 attacks, where 2,996 people were killed, while more than 6,000 people got injured.

It was broadcasted LIVE from the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas and featured matches & interviews, with the overall theme of paying tribute to those who lost their lives, their relatives, and those who were injured.
