• NXT 2.0 Results – New Champions Crowned

– Cameron Grimes (c) def. Solo Sikoa to retain the NXT North American Championship

After the match, Carmelo Hayes came out and wants his Title rematch. Carmelo & Trick Williams then beat down Grimes & Sikoa.

– NXT Champion Bron Breakker said Rick Steiner is now safe at home after being kidnapped by Joe Gacy & Harland last week. He then called Gacy to the ring. Gacy appeared on the screen and revealed that he kept Rick’s Hall of Fame ring and burned it.

– Von Wagner def. Ikemen Jiro

– Mandy Rose (c) def. Dakota Kai to retain the NXT Women’s Championship

After the match, Wendy Choo came out and squirted Toxic Attraction with water guns.

– Cora Jade said she wants to be NXT Women’s Champion and have her name in the record books next to women she grew up idolizing like AJ Lee, Sasha Banks & Natalya.

Natalya interrupted and introduced herself. Cora said Natalya was the first action figure she bought and talked about messaging her on Twitter.

Natalya said she looked backstage at the NXT 2.0 women’s roster and said Cora is the future of the division, but that it’s a very bleak future.

Natalya then attacked Cora and put her in a Sharpshooter.

– Xyon Quinn def. Draco Anthony

– Tatum Paxley challenged Natalya to a match for next week. Natalya accepted and told the other women in the locker room that they’re on notice.

– Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta convinced Dexter Lumis & Duke Hudson to become a Tag Team.

– Pretty Deadly def. Creed Brothers in the end in the Gauntlet Match to win the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship

On this day in 1986, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This was the original third nationally syndicated show that later became known as “WWF Wrestling Spotlight” after the August 30, 1986 episode.

NOT to be confused with the famous “WWF Superstars of Wrestling” TV show, that eventually took over WWF Championship Wrestling in September 1986 and ran until 1997, before becoming a recap/highlights show that ran till 2001.
