• NXT Dominates SmackDown Once Again, NXT Title To Be Defended In The Main Event

Former WWE Champion The Miz came out for a Miz TV segment on tonight’s SmackDown. Universal Champion Bray Wyatt was scheduled to be Miz’s guest on tonight’s show, but he couldn’t make it.

So Miz addresses NXT wrestlers invading SmackDown and taking people out.

This leads to former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa interrupt Miz and he talks about how he’s the “Greatest Sports Entertainer Of All Time”. Ciampa then says Miz is everything that’s wrong with RAW & SmackDown. Ciampa says Miz comes out here and acts like a talk show host and an actor who plays a part, but Ciampa is ‘the part’.

The Miz then says he’s been here for 15 years and should get an Oscar if he was acting. Miz then challenges Ciampa to a match and it’s on!

After back & forth action, Ciampa picks up a big win over The Miz and sends a big message on NXT’s behalf ahead of Survivor Series 2019.

After this, we get to a backstage segment and Daniel Bryan interrupts Triple H & Shawn Michaels backstage and Bryan challenges Triple H to a fight on tonight’s SmackDown.

Triple H says he didn’t bring his gear and then HBK removes his jacket, but is only joking around.

Triple H then brings out NXT Champion Adam Cole and Triple H makes it official – Adam Cole vs. Daniel Bryan for the NXT Championship in tonight’s main event!
