6. Daniel Bryan Says A Part Of His Mind Hasn’t Accepted His Retirement

During a recent interview with The Daily World, former 4 time WWE World Champion and retired WWE star Daniel Bryan talked about what his life has been after retirement. Below is what he posted:

“It has been good, but it is weird, because my life had been so busy before retirement. Now, you have all of this extra space and time. Because I was forced into retirement and not wanting to retire, I have to keep my mind away from wrestling. It is borderline painful. OK, so how do you fill your mind when you have filled it with this one thing for so long? I’ve experimented with gardening. I love it, but you don’t love it like that.

A part of my mind hasn’t accepted it. I wake up sometimes with dreams of wrestling. This literally happened to me the night before the speech. I was in Las Vegas and I flew in. I woke up this morning from a dream where I was going to wrestle and I’m not. I have to remind myself at times.”

5. Former TNA Star Magnus Reveals How TNA Wrestling Dealt With His Concussion

During a recent appearance on Vince Russo’s podcast “THE BRAND”, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus talked about suffering a concussion during a match and how the TNA officials dealt with it. Below is what he said:

“The night I won the title in the match with Jeff Hardy I got a concussion. I never had one before, I’ve never had one since. It was a rotten concussion–one of those where I was on auto-pilot for the rest of the mach. At one point I went to the corner, grabbed Jeff and said, ‘I hurt my head–talk to me I don’t know what’s going on’. We still went through the whole thing, so no one could tell. You become a victim of your own success at TNA.

I think because I did such a good job of covering it up . . . I always felt that there was this element that John Gaburick didn’t buy it . . .like he really didn’t think that I got hurt. I was thinking to myself–why would I pretend to get hurt on the night I won the World Title? What could I possibly be trying to avoid?”
