Tonight’s NXT Takeover: Toronto is airing live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the WWE Network. This is the final Takeover event of 2016.

Below is the match card for tonight’s event:

– NXT Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Samoa Joe

– NXT Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James

– 2 Out of 3 Falls Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship: The Revival (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa)

– Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2016 Final: The Authors of Pain vs. TM-61

– Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger

The show begins with Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger. Dillinger gets the upper hand early on in the match.

After great back & forth action, Roode hit the Glorious DDT to get the win over Dillinger.

Up next is the final match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2016 tournament. The Authors of Pain are out first along with Paul Ellering. TM-61 makes their way out next. Ellering is locked in a cage and is suspended above the ring in it.

The match begins and the action quickly gets to the ringside area. Rezar puts Shane Thorne on his shoulder and starts to climb the structure that’s holding the cage that contains Ellering. However, Thorne attacks Rezar and Rezar falls to the floor. Shane then hit an insane Senton Bomb from there onto Akam & Rezar!
