Old School WWF Legends Celebrate Their Birthdays

Vince McMahon

– Old School WWF (now WWE) Promoter & Announcer Vince McMahon Jr. turns 72 today.

Born in 1945, Vincent Kennedy McMahon eventually took over the World Wrestling Federation from his father in 1982 at the age of 37. Him and his biggest star Hulk Hogan took the sport of Professional Wrestling and turned it from a local territory thing into a national and later international sensation. Hence if you don’t know who Vince McMahon is, you can not call yourself a Wrestling Fan. Period.

– Old School WWF Veteran Rocky Johnson turns 73 today.
On November 15, 1983 the Tag Team of Rocky Johnson & “Mr. U.S.A.” Tony Atlas made history when they became the first ever black team to win the WWF Tag Team Championship. Ultimately his biggest accomplishment was giving birth to a son, whom we all know as Old School WWF Legend & now the #1 Actor in all of Hollywood “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson.

It was The Rock who inducted his father into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008, the night before WrestleMania 24.
