On this day in Pro Wrestling History, WWF Survivor Series 1997 PPV took place. This PPV event featured one of the most controversial moments in Professional Wrestling history: The Montreal Screwjob.

– The Road Warriors, Ahmed Johnson and Ken Shamrock def. The Nation of Domination (The Rock, Faarooq, Kama Mustafa and D’Lo Brown) 4-3 in a Survivor Series elimination match. [Sole Survivor: Ken Shamrock]

WWF Intercontinental Title Match: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin def. Owen Hart to win the Title.
