On this day in Pro Wrestling history on September 22, 2002, World Wrestling Entertainment aired ‘WWE Unforgiven 2002’ LIVE on PPV from the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The PPV theme song of this dual brand (RAW & SmackDown!) pay-per-view was “Adrenaline” by the band ‘Gavin Rossdale’.

This marked the first time Undertaker and Brock Lesnar faced each other in singles competition.

Brock Lesnar won the WWE Undisputed Title from The Rock at SummerSlam 2002, and The Undertaker challenged him the next night on Raw. The title match between the two at Unforgiven ended in a Double DQ.

– Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker for the WWE Title ended in a Double DQ.
