On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 4, 2002, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘Insurrextion 2002’ LIVE on PPV from the Wembley Arena in London, England.
This was the 3rd out of 4 annual Insurrextion pay-per-views the WWF/WWE held between 2000 and 2003.
It’s also remembered as the very last WWF PPV, because the company changed its name from World Wrestling Federation to World Wrestling Entertainment the next day, so the Monday Night RAW episode 2 days after Insurrextion was already promoted under the WWE banner.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 4, 1990) – WWF House Show
On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 4, 1990, the World Wrestling Federation held an untelevised house show at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The promotion returned to Pittsburgh after a 3 year absence.
This live event included matches featuring the 1990 WWF Superstars.
