• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (August 13, 2007) – WWF Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2007, we lost Old School WWF Veteran Crush (Real name: Brian Adams) at the age of 43 due to a painkiller overdose.

Crush became the 3rd member of Demolition in 1990 but stayed with the World Wrestling Federation after the team’s demise in 1991, using several gimmicks until he left in late 1997.

In early 1998, he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he immediately joined the famous New World Order (nWo) faction.

During his final year in WCW, as well as during his very brief WWF return, Brian Adams was put in a Tag Team with Bryan Clark (fka Adam Bomb), called KroniK.

• Original Finish For Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton At SummerSlam 2019 Revealed

At SummerSlam 2019, Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship ended in a Double Count-out.

According to The Dirty Sheets, with a WWE 24 special on Kofi Kingston taking place on the WWE Network right after SummerSlam 2019, there were plans for Kingston vs. Orton to main event the PPV, but that didn’t happen once the finish was changed to a Double Count-Out.

The original finish for the match was for Orton to hit Kofi with the RKO and then roll out of the ring to mock Kofi’s family by shouting “he’s stupid, stupid, stupid”. Orton would’ve then entered the ring and Kofi would’ve hit him with the Trouble In Paradise to pick up the win.

The storyline after this would’ve been that Orton got distracted (by his own actions) and this would’ve then resulted in a rematch (which is going to happen now anyway).

This feud is expected to last two more months.
