• Original Plan For LA Knight At WrestleMania 39

While SmackDown Superstar LA Knight wasn’t booked for a match at WrestleMania 39, he did say that WrestleMania 39 will get an LA Knight moment because you can’t have a WrestleMania in LA without LA Knight.

However, he didn’t appear at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

According to WRKD Wrestling, Knight was originally scheduled to have a segment with Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39:

“A noticeable on-screen absence from WrestleMania was LA Knight, even after saying, ‘WrestleMania will get that LA Knight moment!’

We’re told Knight was scheduled to have a segment with Lashley on Night 2. We are unsure why the change was made.”

Lashley was originally scheduled to face Bray Wyatt, but that didn’t happen. Then this LA Knight segment didn’t happen either.

All Lashley did was appear on the stage on Night 2 and lift the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy that he won on WrestleMania SmackDown.
