• Original Plan For Title Change At AEW All Out 2022

As seen on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa announced that she’s injured and can’t compete at the All Out 2022 PPV.

At All Out, the following Fatal 4-Way Match will take place to crown the Interim AEW Women’s Champion:

Britt Baker vs. Toni Storm vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Jamie Hayter

According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan for All Out was for Rosa to lose the Title to Toni Storm:

“The AEW Women’s Division lost a lot of ground when Britt Baker lost the Title, the interest level went down. They were going to make a change. If Rosa was on the show, she was going to lose.”

PWInsider also added that Rosa’s injury angle is legitimate and not a cover-up for a suspension:

“There is a story making the rounds that Rosa has been suspended by the company and is not injured. In checking with multiple sources, we are told there is zero truth to that story and her injury required a change in AEW plans for the PPV.”
