• UFC Champion Thinks Braun Strowman Will Main Event WrestleMania 34 As The Universal Champion

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier noted that he thinks Braun Strowman will capture the Universal Championship and he will then main event WrestleMania 34 with Roman Reigns.

Below is what Cormier said:

“Roman is the number-one star in the company right now, and I enjoy his work. A lot of people boo him because they think he’s pushed too hard, but WWE is smart. Now they’ve spun it–they’ve stuck Roman back with The Shield, and now people cheer him again.

They’ll find a way to make him the good guy, and I believe that he will get the championship back in New Orleans, but not from Brock Lesnar. I think Braun Strowman will be carrying the belt by then.”

• Originally Planned Major WrestleMania 34 Match Nixed

WWE officials were originally planning to do a WWE’s 4 Horsewomen vs. MMA’s 4 Horsewomen match at WrestleMania 34, but that’s not the case anymore.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that MMA’s 4 Horsewomen’s Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir are no longer training for a career in Pro Wrestling. On the other hand, Shayna Baszler is getting a run on NXT and Ronda Rousey is currently expected to make her WWE in-ring debut at Royal Rumble 2018.

With this WrestleMania 34 tag team match being nixed, plans are for Ronda Rousey to be involved in a Title match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
