SmackDown wrestler Otis recently talked to Digital Spy, where he revealed a pretty interesting incident about his childhood.

It appears that Mandy Rose is not the only blonde he’s obsessed with. He revealed that he only went to WWE events for WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus when he was a kid.

He said that when he was in 5th grade, he attended a WWE house show and ran towards the barrier to slap hands with Stratus, while she was making her entrance. However, the bold move from him failed as he was speared by a guard in the process.

“It hurt, every bit of it hurt. I was a 200-pound fifth grader – I looked like a man almost.”

He revealed that some good came out of it, as he received free tickets for the next WWE house show in his area.

“So yeah I made a sacrifice, got speared. But after that spear from the guard we got first row tickets. So it all happened for a reason.”

He went on to say that Stratus never heard the story, but he hopes she hears it. He also said that it’s hard to talk to her as a person, as he got used to watching her on TV.

“I’ve never told Trish that story in person. It’s hard for me to talk to her as a lady I’ve watched for years in the Sports Entertainment world. It would be a good way for me to express…you know, without really talking to her in person.”

He also said that he’ll challenge for the Tag Team Championship if he wins the Money In The Bank briefcase.

“If I get the briefcase, we’re challenging for the Tag Team titles. I don’t think there’s a rule of what titles to challenge for, so we’re going to challenge for the Tag Team titles, cash it in and that’s what’s going to happen…if I can get up that ladder. I’m a little scared of heights, and I hope that ladder’s going to be sturdy enough to carry my weight.”
