• Paul Heyman Booked Finn Balor To Lose At Extreme Rules 2019, Balor Expected To Join The Club

As seen on the Extreme Rules 2019 Kickoff Show, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Finn Balor to win the Intercontinental Championship.

According to Brad Shepard, RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman was the one who pitched the idea of Balor dropping the Title to Nakamura because Heyman wants Balor to join The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

Brad also noted that Heyman was more upset than Balor about the Intercontinental Title match taking place on the Kickoff Show (especially since it featured a Title change as well).
