Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and OG Bloodline.

• During an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Paul Heyman was asked if he’s still in touch with Brock Lesnar.

Heyman replied:

“It’s funny, when people ask me about that. Brock Lesnar doesn’t like to be discussed about anything about his life that is off-camera. If I do speak to Brock Lesnar, he would want that to be private. If I don’t speak with Brock Lesnar, he would want that to be private.

Based on both love and appreciation for the man, and a healthy dose of absolute fear of the man, I will neither confirm nor deny my knowledge of even the existence of a species on this planet that carries the name Brock Lesnar.”

When asked about Lesnar’s return status, Heyman said:

“I don’t really put any thought into that at this time because it’s not a subject that is going to resolve itself by Survivor Series or by the end of the year, therefore it is not on the radar of things to address.”

Lesnar was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam 2023.

• The OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos & Sami Zayn) will team up with CM Punk to take on the new Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed in a WarGames Match in the main event of this Saturday’s Survivor Series 2024 premium live event.

WrestleVotes reported the following about the future of the original Bloodline:

“We are hearing that the plans for the OG Bloodline are to remain somewhat connected throughout the winter, as the group won’t be disbanding completely post-Saturday night’s Survivor Series.

It is expected by many that The Bloodline story will be a focal point of the early Netflix RAW shows.

They brought all these guys back together — The Usos, Sami Zayn, not CM Punk. I don’t believe he’ll be a part of it, but the four with Roman Reigns included, that story is going to remain all the way through the winter into the Royal Rumble and things of that nature.

So excited to see where this goes, as Saturday night likely won’t be the end of either side of The Bloodlines.”
