• Paul Heyman On If Roman Reigns vs. The Rock Will Happen At WrestleMania 39
During an interview with SK Wrestling, Paul Heyman was asked about the possibility of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns facing WWF Legend The Rock at WrestleMania 39 (aka WrestleMania Hollywood) next April.
Below is what Heyman said:
“We can speculate all we want about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson stepping into the ring with Roman Reigns. It’s masturbatory fantasies until there’s a piece of paper in front of us with Dwayne Johnson’s signature on it.
Then I know it’s real. And until then it’s just fantasy. It’s a fantasy of Dwayne Johnson’s to come and get the rub from ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns.”
It’s a fantasy of Dwayne Johnson to feel the energy of 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 thousand people live, cheering on as The Tribal Chief smashes The Rock.
It’s a fantasy of Dwayne Johnson to step into the ring with the greatest of all time, Roman Reigns…then, now, and forever.
Not until he puts his name on a contract, it’s just his fantasy.”
Rock vs. Reigns was recently teased on an episode of Young Rock:

This match was also teased on the WWE Evil series recently.
The Rock’s last match took place in 2016 at WrestleMania 32, where he defeated Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family in an impromptu match in just 6 seconds (the fastest victory in WrestleMania history).
His last proper match took place in 2013, where he lost the WWE Championship to John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 29.
