• Paul Heyman On What Problem Roman Reigns Is Facing In WWE Right Now

During a recent interview with BT Sport, Paul Heyman said that there aren’t many credible challengers left for Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Here’s what Heyman said:

“The problem with Roman Reigns is not the limit of his greatness. Roman’s greatness gets more defined as every performance is put forth.

The problem with Roman Reigns is – we have such a limited number of people that we can viably and actually work with that people will look at and say, ‘That’s an opponent for Roman Reigns, that’s someone I’d like to see challenge The Tribal Chief.’

That’s why Brock Lesnar’s return is so huge. We don’t have 5 other people waiting in the wings that automatically step up and can be a credible opponent for Roman Reigns.”

This past Sunday, Reigns defeated WWE Champion Big E clean in the main event of Survivor Series 2021, without any interference.

WWE released a promo for SmackDown earlier this week, which teased that Reigns’ next challenger for the Universal Championship will be revealed this Friday night on FOX.
