A few months back, the new Bloodline expelled Paul Heyman and attacked him after he refused to recognize Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. Heyman has been absent from WWE television since the incident.
During the latest Backstage Pass Q&A with Bill Apter and WrestleVotes, an exclusive update was provided regarding when Heyman might return to WWE programming. When asked about Heyman’s potential comeback, Apter mentioned that Heyman had recently appeared at The Big Event convention in Long Island, where he hinted at a return, saying, “Soon enough”. Apter noted that although Heyman has been backstage at recent WWE shows, he has yet to appear on-screen.
“Paul Heyman was at The Big Event convention this past Sunday in Long Island, and that was the question that everyone was asking. His answer was: ‘Soon enough.’ So he is, from what I understand, I haven’t seen him, but he is allegedly backstage at all the TV shows right now,” Apter shared.
WrestleVotes added that WWE might delay Heyman’s return until after Survivor Series 2024 on November 30, where the original Bloodline will face the new Bloodline in a WarGames match.
They noted that if the WarGames storyline involves more than just Bloodline vs. Bloodline (as teased on this week’s RAW), WWE could wait until the storyline concludes before bringing Heyman back to TV:
“Nothing specific, but I think it’s worth mentioning now, if the WarGames match is not specifically Bloodline vs. Bloodline, and there’s more stories involved there, I could see them waiting until that’s finished up.”
Speaking of Heyman’s recent appearance at The Big Event, he reunited with former WWE interviewer Kayla Braxton at this event.
