3. Samoa Joe Loses His First WWE Main Roster Singles Match

At Payback 2017, “The Kingslayer” Seth Rollins found a way to pin “The Destroyer” Samoa Joe to pick up yet another big PPV win. This was Joe’s first WWE main roster loss in singles matches.

Things are far from over between these two former NXT Champions and below is what WWE posted about the finish of this match:

“The hard-hitting Samoan tried to suck the life out of Rollins with a sleeper hold and looked for one more maneuver to finish him off, but The Kingslayer suddenly countered with a roll-up for the three-count.

Rollins had to feel vindicated with the victory, but as he hobbled to the back, it was clear he’d be feeling the effects of this battle for a while.”
