• People Backstage In AEW Are Not Happy About Dax Harwood’s Plea To CM Punk
During an episode of his FTR podcast, AEW wrestler Dax Harwood talked about the backstage fight at the All Out 2022 pay-per-view between CM Punk and The Elite (Kenny Omega & Young Bucks).
Dax said that some of the things reported about the fight were exaggerated.
Harwood said the following in the end:
“This is my plea to all four guys. Please find a way to make it work.
If we can make it work, we can set up the future of professional wrestling for a long time and we can change the course of professional wrestling for a very long time.
When you think about it, unselfishly, we’re doing this for 20-30 years down the road so guys and girls can make a living.”
This quote was covered by a page on Instagram. Punk read it and commented the following:
“Duh.”
According to the Wrestling Observer, people backstage in All Elite Wrestling weren’t happy about Dax wanting to bring his good friend CM Punk back in to the company:
“From what I heard from different people, they were not particularly happy at all about this. All I heard the other day was how unhappy people were about that podcast.”
