On this day in 1998, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Thunder’.

Word going on is that multiple NXT wrestlers are set to compete in the 50 man Battle Royal (similar to how NXT wrestlers were used in last year’s 50 Man Greatest Royal Rumble match) and one of them is going to be Matt Riddle.

Riddle recently competed at NXT TakeOver: XXV event this past weekend and defeated Roderick Strong of The Undisptued Era.
