Back in June, Bruce Prichard replaced Paul Heyman as the Executive Director of RAW. This decision was taken in an attempt to boost the ratings of RAW, which doesn’t seem to be quite successful.

It seems like WWE is already planning to replace Prichard with Shane McMahon, as Alex McCarthy is reporting that Vince McMahon may want his son to lead the RAW creative team.

“Now, one source in WWE has told me Shane is being considered to take RAW off Bruce Prichard’s hands leaving him to concentrate on SmackDown.

Other sources that I’ve posed this information couldn’t give concrete confirmation, though judging by work behind the scenes, they can believe it. Another layer to the story is Prichard making no secret about the fact he’d like to lighten his workload and he’s been struggling with the long hours.”

This looks like a possibility, as Shane returned to the screen last month and has been responsible for booking the third hour of RAW as RAW Underground.

It should be noted that he also had a major role in booking this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match, which was highly praised by the fans.
