• Possible Sign That Sting Will Wrestle In AEW
WWE Hall Of Famer Sting shocked everyone when he showed up on this week’s “Winter Is Coming” edition of AEW Dynamite, after Cody Rhodes and TNT Champion Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and PowerHouse Hobbs of Team Taz.
He had a staredown with Cody, Darby and Arn Anderson.
It isn’t confirmed yet if The Icon will wrestle in AEW or play another role, as he was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to spinal stenosis, as he injured his neck at Night Of Champions 2015 in a WWE Championship match against Seth Rollins.
He has been listed on the AEW Men’s roster page, however, and also has a win/loss record listed right there.
Many people believe that he may have signed with AEW for a managerial role, but interestingly, other managers don’t have a profile on the roster page.
We’ll find out more about this when Sting speaks on Dynamite next week.
