According to sources within Lucha Underground, former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio is close to signing with the promotion.
It should be noted that Rey Mysterio is currently dealing with a knee injury, so he likely won’t be there in a wrestling role. The tapings for Season 2 of Lucha Undeground starts this weekend.
