• Possible Spoiler Regarding New Champions At Extreme Rules 2019
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) recently became the #1 contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles by defeating the champions, The IIconics, in a non-title tag team match.
According to Brad Shepard, The IIconics vs. The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is expected to get added to Extreme Rules 2019 PPV and Kabuki Warriors are scheduled to become the new champions (which makes sense as no other titles might change hands at the PPV).
Below is what Brad reported:
“A source in WWE told me this week to expect new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at Extreme Rules, and the new champions are expected to be The Kabuki Warriors. We’ll see if that changes but the main idea is to get the ball rolling on the Women’s Tag Team titles again.”
