On last week’s Raw, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar talked about beating The Rock back at SummerSlam 2002 to win the WWE Undisputed Championship in a pre-taped interview. He also spoke about the way it outshined his own career and that it lead to The Rock drifting towards Hollywood.
Reportedly, the lines said by Brock were scripted by the WWE officials as an indication towards a possible match between both veterans at the next year’s WrestleMania 32, also to gauge the fans’ reactions.
There could be a big angle at the end of the main event at WrestleMania 31 where The Rock could return and cost Brock Lesnar the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, thus leading to an epic clash at WrestleMania 32.
WrestleMania 32 is scheduled to take place on April 3, 2016 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and officials are expecting that the event will break all time attendance records. If they book matches like this one, it will indeed break the records.
