4. John Cena wins the United States Title
John Cena as WWE United States Champion
The current plan is for John Cena to end Rusev’s undefeated streak this Sunday and capture the United States Championship, which will result in bringing the prestige back to the title.
The idea is that if officials decide to let Lesnar retain the WWE title, he wouldn’t work all the events, so the US & IC title can main event various shows like Raw, SmackDown and the live events.
This will also keep John Cena away from the WWE World Title picture, which was very much needed as he’s already a 15 time World Champion.
