• Possible Title Change Before Survivor Series 2019

According to the Wrestling Observer, a triple threat match between the United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion and NXT North American Champion is scheduled to take place at Survivor Series 2019.

As of this writing, this match would be AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Roderick Strong.

However, word going on is that there’s a chance Daniel Bryan ends up defeating Nakamura before the Survivor Series PPV to become the new Intercontinental Champion and thus replace Nakamura in the above stated triple threat match.

This would also make sense since Styles, Nakamura and Strong are all heels, and Bryan is a babyface now – so his addition would make sense.

WWE has been doing surprise title changes before Survivor Series PPV for two years now.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was scheduled to take place at Survivor Series 2017, but AJ Styles defeated Mahal before the PPV and ended up facing Lesnar.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles was scheduled to take place at Survivor Series 2018, but Daniel Bryan defeated Styles before the PPV and ended up facing Lesnar.
