• Possible WWE Championship Match For WrestleMania 38

Bobby Lashley pinned Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2022 to win the WWE Championship for the second time in his career.

However, he might not be a part of the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 38.

According to Wrestlevotes, there have been some discussions about doing Randy Orton vs. Riddle for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38:

“WWE had plans since the pairing began last spring for Riddle vs. Randy Orton at SummerSlam, which didn’t happen.

Plan was to hold off till WrestleMania. I’m told now only a handful of creative members want to spilt them, with the idea that if the match happens, it should be for the WWE Title.”

As we noted earlier, Lashley is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber on February 19.

A fan then tweeted:

“Randy Orton is going to win the Elimination Chamber next month and become WWE Champion, isn’t he?

Randy Orton vs. Riddle for the WWE title at WrestleMania?”

Wrestlevotes then replied:

“If CERTAIN people get their way, maybe. Pal.”
