• Potential Spoiler On Who Could’ve Really Ran Over Elias On SmackDown
Elias was written off WWE programming through a hit-and-run angle as he suffered a torn pectoral muscle.
In the storyline between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus, WWE is continuously bringing up the fact that the person who ran over Elias had red hair and beard. Although Sheamus is the first suspect about the whole incident, there’s someone else who could’ve done it.
Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn also fits the given description, and he’s been really unhappy about him being stripped of the Intercontinental Championship. He could’ve attacked Elias and framed Hardy, as both of them were participating in the Intercontinental Championship tournament.
WrestlingNewsco is reporting that Zayn is set to return soon, and he could be revealed as the person who ran over Elias:
“I was told that the announcers and the production team were given specific notes to remind fans that Hardy and Elias’ attacker had red hair and a red beard. This was mentioned during Hardy’s promo in the opening segment while Corey Graves tried to cast doubt that the attacker was Sheamus.”
Zayn also sent out a warning for new Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles on Twitter, which could be a hint that he’s going to return soon and feud for the Title.
