6. Good News For Sasha Banks, Nikki Bella Reveals Where She Was Hiding For Her Surprise Return At SummerSlam 2016

As we noted before, “The Boss” Sasha Banks dropped the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2016 in order to take time off from WWE Programming to heal (she’s been dealing with some injuries as of late).

It was previously expected that she would be out for 6 months, but that isn’t the case anymore. It is being reported that Sasha would be out of action for only a month and will be back in action to WWE Live Events in late September. She won’t be requiring surgery. WWE reported that she injured her back at SummerSlam 2016 during her Title match with Charlotte.

Nikki Bella, who made a surprise return at SummerSlam 2016 and will make her first appearance on SmackDown Live tonight, revealed on Instagram that she hid on a tour bus to keep her return at SummerSlam 2016 a surprise. Below is what she posted:

I waited on a bus to surprise everyone, even my partners & opponents last night at SummerSlam. 7 months ago when I had surgery I hoped for that day to come but was told it wouldn’t. I prayed and trained so hard that it would. I just knew that I couldn’t have already had my ending in the ring. I just wouldn’t accept it. The WWE Universe keeps me alive. You give me energy that no one else can give me. You challenge me. You make me want to be better. It’s crazy what you do to me. And the welcome Brooklyn gave me made me hold in tears. I was just blown away. I’m excited to make magic happen at #smackdown I’m excited to be back! Im@excited to show everyone that the impossible is truly possible! My heart and passion is in that ring… Always will be! Love you all! #stayfearless #fearlessnikki #nevergiveup
