7. Eva Marie Returns & Gets a Spot on the WrestleMania 32 card
NXT Diva Eva Marie returned to the WWE main roster on last night’s Raw and attacked Lana. This led to her joining the Total Divas team (Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Paige, Natalya) in their match against Team Bad & Blonde (Lana, Naomi, Tamina, Emma & Summer Rae) on the WrestleMania 32 Kickoff show.
The reason behind Eva Marie being called up for the match is Nikki Bella being injured, otherwise she would’ve been a part of the team of Total Divas. Also, there were plans until last year for Eva to walk into WrestleMania 32 as the Divas Champion.
However, backlash from the fans resulted in those plans getting nixed.
Wresting Observer is reporting that WWE was expecting a babyface reaction for Eva, but she got booed out of the building.
6. AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho IV Set For WrestleMania 32
“The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles distracted Chris Jericho with the “Y2Jackass” chants during his match with Zack Ryder on last night’s Raw, which led to Ryder pinning Jericho.
In an interview earlier, Jericho noted he won’t let Styles make a name for himself at WrestleMania 32 by being in the ring with the 6 time World Champion. However, after the match was over, an irate Chris Jericho agreed to face Styles at WrestleMania.
This will be Jericho’s 12th WrestleMania and Styles’ 1st, and Y2J vowed to make it Styles’ last.
