On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Sunday Night HEAT’.
It was broadcasted from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 2001’ PPV.

• RAW Champion Thinks Kenny Omega Could Arrive In WWE At Royal Rumble 2019
During a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, RAW Tag Team Champion Bobby Roode was asked who could make a big surprise appearance at Royal Rumble 2019 (similar to Ronda Rousey’s Royal Rumble 2018 appearance).
Below is what Roode said:
“If you’re looking for an outside guy, I don’t know there’s Kenny Omega I guess. He’s a fellow Canadian and a guy who has a lot of talent and would be a huge addition to this company, who knows? I mean we’ll see what happens.”
It should be noted that Omega is under contract with NJPW till the end of January, so an appearance at Royal Rumble 2019 might be difficult.
