• RAW Champion’s Status For WrestleMania 37 Unclear
According to the Wrestling Observer, not only did RAW Women’s Champion Asuka lose a tooth when WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler accidentally kicked her in the mouth on the February 22nd episode of RAW, but she also suffered a concussion.
Since Asuka is out of action with a concussion, her status for WrestleMania 37 is unclear because there’s no timeline on when she’ll be cleared.
Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair for the RAW Women’s Championship is currently rumored to take place at WrestleMania 37.
It should be noted that Asuka wasn’t originally planned to be a part of the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 37.
Lacey Evans was scheduled to defeat Asuka at the Elimination Chamber PPV to win the RAW Women’s Championship and then go on to defend the Title against Charlotte at WrestleMania 37. However, that plan was scrapped due to Lacey’s real-life pregnancy.
We’ll keep you updated regarding Asuka’s status.
