RAW Results – Dominik Mysterio Defeats Rusev (Video)

Below are the complete results from tonight’s WWE RAW, featuring the return of Roman Reigns, Dominik Mysterio, Rusev, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins and more.

– Rhea Ripley kicked off tonight’s RAW and called out Asuka and Kairi Sane for their actions last week. IYO SKY came out and said Rhea was right about The Kabuki Warriors, but they are still her family and she loves them. Asuka and Kairi appeared on the titantron. Asuka said IYO can still be her student if she apologizes. As for Rhea, Asuka said it’s too late. Ripley told IYO that she has to trust her and that IYO can’t forgive Asuka. IYO is conflicted and apologized to Rhea and left the ring. Asuka and Kairi attacked Rhea from behind. IYO came back to the ring to save Rhea, but Asuka spit the poison mist in IYO’s face. Rhea tried to fight back, but the 2-on-1 attack was too much.

– Dominik Mysterio (c) def. Rusev to retain the Intercontinental Championship

During the match, Dirty Dom hit Rusev with one of his titles, but it didn’t work. Dom then pulled an Eddie Guerrero trick by handing Rusev a title and taking a bump on his own, but the referee didn’t buy it. Dominik hit Rusev with a low blow behind the referee’s back and then rolled up Rusev to pin him.

– LA Knight asked Adam Pearce to book him in a World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. The New Day interrupted them, which led to Knight vs. Kofi Kingston being booked.

– Byron Saxton asked World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh their thoughts on Dominik Mysterio retaining the Intercontinental Title tonight. Finn questioned what Bryon is trying to insinuate, of course they are happy for Dirty Dom.

– WWE looked back at the history of Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins.

– Bayley asked Lyra Valkyria to be ringside for her match again. Lyra isn’t willing to give Bayley a second chance – she’s on her own.

– Raquel Rodriguez def. Bayley after Roxanne Perez attacked Bayley behind the referee’s back

Roxanne attacked Bayley after the match, which led to Lyra Valkyria making the save. Roxanne and Raquel took down Lyra, which led to Bayley taking out The Judgment Day and then celebrating with Lyra.

– Jimmy Uso met Jey Uso backstage. Jimmy said he and LA Knight needed help last week, but Jey didn’t help them. Jey said helping Knight gets them nowhere.

– Kairi Sane met IYO SKY backstage and said it’s not too late and that she should apologize to Asuka. IYO shouted at her to leave her alone.

– LA Knight def. Kofi Kingston

– Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch called Maxxine Dupri a loser backstage. Akira Tozawa laughed at Becky’s loss to AJ Lee and Becky punched him. Becky assaulted Maxxine as well. Becky met Seth Rollins and said she’ll accompany him out to the ring. Seth said he needs to do this on his own.

– Dominik Mysterio vowed to dominate Dragon Lee and retain the AAA Mega Championship. Penta confronted him and put him on notice. Byron Saxton asked Dominik what he thinks about Penta’s comments. Dirty Dom said he has beaten this guy like 5 times already.

– World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins said Cody Rhodes beating him 3 times in 2022 doesn’t matter, because it’s in the past. Crown Jewel will decide who will lead the future of the wrestling industry for the next 10 to 20 years. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came out and his pyro didn’t go off during the entrance. Cody is confused and said none of them can control the future of the business, only the fans can. Cody said Seth isn’t even in control of his own faction, as it was Paul Heyman who sent Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed after him on last week’s SmackDown. Seth said every decision goes through him and he sent Bron and Bronson after him.

Cody said so it was him who allowed Paul Heyman to introduce Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza. Seth got mad and said that decision was approved by him too. Cody said that Seth was his shield at WrestleMania 40, and thought Seth was his friend. Seth says he was never Cody’s friend and claimed that Cody was just a lesser evil compared to Roman Reigns, and declared that Cody will never be his friend or his equal.

– IYO SKY told Rhea Ripley that they will face The Kabuki Warriors in a tag team match at Crown Jewel.

– AJ Styles and Dragon Lee def. Los Americanos

Before the match, AJ Styles thanked the fans for making one more match against John Cena a possibility at Crown Jewel. He vowed to “beat up John Cena” one more time. Dragon Lee said he will take down Dominik Mysterio and become AAA Mega Champion.

– Stephanie Vaquer vowed to become Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Tiffany Stratton interrupted and said she has been the WWE Women’s Champion for 268 days and she won’t let someone who has been on top for two weeks to change her story.

– Seth Rollins said the following to Paul Heyman backstage before the main event: “I have to beat him. I have to.”

– The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) def. The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) in a Tornado Tag Team Match

Roman Reigns returned during the match and assaulted The Vision with a steel chair. After the match, The OTC attacked Breakker with a steel chair again.
