• RAW Star Reportedly Returning As A Full-Time Wrestler

Kurt Angle has been sent on vacation by Stephanie McMahon because of his unsatisfactory performance on RAW according to her. Constable Baron Corbin will be the acting General Manager of RAW until Angle returns.

According to the Fired Up podcast, Angle has taken a break from WWE for a very good reason. The reason why Angle took a break is because he won’t be returning as the General Manager of RAW, instead he will be returning as The Olympic Gold Medalist who puts people in the Ankle Lock in the ring.

Kurt said on Instagram that he doesn’t know whether Stephanie McMahon’s decision is temporary or permanent which might be a hint that his days as General Manager of RAW are over:

“I’m really sorry that I won’t be on Monday Night Raw for a little while. I enjoyed every minute of it with the WWEUniverse. I was told by Stephanie McMahon that I need a vacation. I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent. I Hope I will be back sooner than later. Thank you WWEUniverse. Much Love. #itstrue”

Angle will be training for his in-ring return as a full time wrestler while he’s off TV. He might also work the WWE Super Show-Down in Australia in October.

The 49-year old Angle last competed at WrestleMania 34 where he tagged with Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. In the months since Angle’s physicality has been limited to being judo tossed by Rousey and being hit with an F5 by Brock Lesnar.
