• SmackDown Tag Team Title Match To Be Confirmed On Tonight’s Episode Of SmackDown Live
The Bar & The New Day will face off in the finals of the SmackDown Tag Team tournament on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.
The winners of this match will face The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam 2018.
Below is what WWE posted about this:
The New Day and The Bar clash for SummerSlam title opportunity
“The tournament to determine who will challenge SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam concludes tonight, as The New Day clash with The Bar in the finals.
Big E & Xavier Woods defeated SAnitY to earn their place in the final match, while Sheamus & Cesaro emerged victorious from a hard-hitting throwdown with The Usos to move one step closer to earning a title opportunity at The Biggest Event of The Summer.
There’s no love lost between these two teams. In fact, it was The Bar who brought The New Day’s record-breaking 484-day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions to an end in 2016. Will The Celtic Warrior and The Swiss Cyborg once again be victorious, or will The New Day earn the right to challenge for their fifth tag team championship at SummerSlam?”

• RAW Star Not Retiring Despite Recent Speculation
As we noted before, Old School Attitude Era Veteran and current RAW Superstar WOKEN Matt Hardy revealed on Twitter that he’s dealing with a weird condition where his lower back & pelvis have started fusing together due to the ‘Event Omega’ move.
Below is what Matt tweeted:
This maneuver was called EVENT OMEGA..
And is most likely the reason that I’ve recently learned that my lower back & pelvis have started fusing together. pic.twitter.com/FzYebvIIc0

Matt also retweeted the following tweet from his wife:
Todo tiene su final.
— Reby Hardy (@RebyHardy) August 3, 2018
The above tweet from Reby translates to “Everything has its end”.
This began speculation that Matt Hardy (who will turn 44 next month) might be retiring from Professional Wrestling soon.
However, that’s not the case. Hardy isn’t in a lot of pain due to this condition and will be undergoing rehab. Hardy isn’t expected to retire anytime soon.
Speaking of Matt, he’ll be involved in the RAW Tag Team Title match on next week’s RAW:
