On this day in 1995, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

This episode was pre-taped in Worcester, Massachusetts and featured matches & storyline segments on the the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1995’ event, that aired later on that very same day LIVE on pay-per-view.

On tonight’s episode of RAW, Kevin Owens challenged Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship and Rollins accepted the challenge.

However, Owens failed to defeat Rollins. After the match, Owens sat on a chair inside the ring and said ‘I Quit’.
