• Kurt Angle Says He’ll Show He Still Got It At WrestleMania 34, Reveals Ronda Rousey’s Finishing Move
WWE Hall of Famer and current Raw General Manager Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A session on his official Facebook page. Below are the highlights:
Q: So how does it feel to get the chance to wrestle at this year’s WrestleMania?
A: I’ve wanted to perform at WrestleMania for the past 5 years. I’m back and I’m grateful to be in a spot that I feel great about. Teaming up w Ronda and competing against HHH/Steph is one of the best spots on the card. I’m excited to show the world I still got it. I was injured at Survivor Series so I was very limited. But now I’m looking forward to WM34.
Q: What’s it like to team with Ronda and wrestle Triple H one more time?
A: I’m excited to team with Ronda. She is an exceptional competitor… dominant and smart. And HHH will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time. His resume speaks for itself. This match will NOT disappoint. Trust me.
Q: Mr. Angle I’m really trying to overcome my personal demons in life right now. I wanted to know do you believe in a rock bottom or is that just something people say? You’re inspiration to me so I’d like to know what you think.
A: Yes I do. It doesn’t mean you need to wait until you hit rock bottom to get help. BUT when you hit rock bottom (losing your family, friends, job, money, etc…) you have no choice but to get help, or you could die. So I’m imploring you to get help if you need it.
Q: Kurt what is your strategy at WrestleMania?
A: Strategy??? Win!!!
Q: Did Ronda have her arm in a bad spot when she did that Samoan Drop on Stephanie?
A: No she didn’t. That’s how you complete the move. It’s Ronda’s finisher.
Q: How much fun has it been working with Ronda Rousey?
A: Ronda has so much personality. She’s catching on very quickly. She’s a quick learner and she “gets it”. She reminds me of….. me. 😉
Q: Have you been part of any of the creative process?
A: As a talent, you’re always part of the creative process, whether you write the show or not. They’re YOUR matches, YOUR words. So each talent IS part of creative.
Q: Hey Kurt What’s Your Neck Measurement ???
A: My neck is 21 inches. The biggest it’s ever been was 22.
• Raw Star Returning Shortly After WrestleMania 34
In this same Q&A session on his Facebook page, Kurt Angle was asked about Jason Jordan’s injury status. Below is what Angle replied:
“Jason should be ok to come back shortly after Wrestlemania but I’m being very optimistic. Hopefully he will be back in the next 6-8 weeks.”
