On tonight’s post-WrestleMania 33 edition of Monday Night Raw, Emma made her return to WWE programming.
She teamed up with Nia Jax and former Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to face the team of Raw Women’s Champion Bayley, “The Boss” Sasha Banks & Dana Brooke.
This was Emma’s first appearance on Raw since her appearance on Raw as Emmalina. This character was nixed because WWE officials thought Emma wasn’t able to pull it off the way they wanted it to.
Word is that the “Emmalina” character would’ve been a throwback to Old School characters like Sable & The Kat, and that there’s a chance that this gimmick might be brought back in the future with some other diva.
