On this day in 1996, the WWF aired an in ring interview with World Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion “Sycho” Sid.
He had only won that Title a little over a month earlier, when he defeated Shawn Michaels at the Survivor Series 1996 PPV.

• Raw Star’s Singles Push On Hold, WWE Ribbing Cesaro
Word going on is that former Raw Tag Team Champion Cesaro’s singles push has been put on hold to protect and prolong his tag team partner Sheamus’ career, who is suffering from spinal stenosis (Stone Cold & Edge’s career ended due to spinal stenosis).
Speaking of Cesaro, WWE is ribbing him by having him talk on Raw with an over-sized mouthpiece despite his teeth & jaw being healed up (he suffered an injury at No Mercy 2017) as WWE officials get a kick out of him speaking that way.
